Canadian indie band Arcade Fire followed their big victory at a Grammy and Brit awards by capturing four Juno awards, including album year for "The Suburbs" and the group in the Canadian music awards ceremony Saturday night.
After the shock rocker Grammy 'for best album this year and won a Brit award for best international album, it would be surprising if the pet critics do not get caught a Juno for the success of their album in the country they call home and where they originally built their fan base.
"We were really overwhelmed," said the thin band of multi-instrumentalist, Richard Reed Parry at Toronto's Air Canada Centre where the Junos were detained. "Thank you everybody. Thanks to Montreal, our home where we all live, and thank you to Toronto."
"Toronto is one of the first places that we have, like, shows a really interesting and feels like something crazy might happen. And it is. So thank you for being there with us."
Clothing which also won best alternative rock album and songwriters of the year, leaving them just one win short of their five nominations.
"The Suburbs" beat the pint-sized pop star Justin Bieber "My World 2.0," Drake "Thank Me Later," Hedley "The Show Must Go On," and "A Place Called Love."
